Misty’s journey in gymnastics began at a young age, driven by a passion that took her across the country in search of the perfect training environment. Her talent and determination earned her recognition in the Junior Olympics and even a feature in the newspaper. Over the years, Misty’s love for the sport evolved into a mission: to share that passion with the next generation.

With over 35 years of experience, Misty has worn many hats in the gymnastics world—athlete, coach, judge, and gym owner. She has built a welcoming, inspiring atmosphere where children not only learn gymnastics but also grow in confidence and character. Misty’s greatest joy is seeing young athletes thrive in the environment she has carefully created, and her goal is simple: for every child to love coming to the gym as much as she does.

Hey there! Growing up I basically lived at the gym--sleeping on the beams, hiding in the mats, trying new skills every chance I got, and so much more. Although I loved gymnastics, I soon adventured to the all star competitive cheer world! My love for both, gymnastics and all-star cheerleading, got me into coaching kids. With my 22 years of experience in the gymnastics world, I am dedicated to helping the children learn the incredible skills of gymnastics and hope they love it like I do!

With over 17 years of experience in competitive, sideline, and game day cheer—and now, 2+ years of coaching at COGC—Coach Grace brings passion, energy, and heart to every practice. She began her journey at just two years old and has never looked back. From the moment she stepped into the gym, she knew she was home.

Now, as a coach at COGC, Grace is dedicated to creating that same sense of belonging for every child she works with. Her coaching philosophy centers on building confidence and celebrating every achievement, no matter how small. She believes that progress is powerful, and her goal is to make every athlete feel seen, supported, and proud of their growth.
